Job Summary
The Volleyball Instructor is a hands-on leader dedicated to developing player technique and court awareness. You will provide expert instruction on the fundamentals—including serving, passing, setting, and hitting—while ensuring every athlete feels confident and engaged. In this role, you will ensure a smooth operation on game days, enforce safety protocols, officiate games, assist volunteer coaches, and foster a positive environment for players of all ages. Your passion for sports, strong communication skills, and commitment to safety will help create an engaging and safe experience for participants, coaches, and spectators alike. Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Facilitate and officiate youth volleyball games
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Sport-specific officiating, playing, and/or coaching experience
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
- Ability to work Sundays (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
