- Officiate soccer matches by enforcing game rules, making accurate calls on fouls, goals, and other game situations; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
- Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring fun, learning, and safety for all players
- Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
- Setup/breakdown of sport fields and equipment
- Assist volunteer coaches during practice
- Coach teams focusing on fundamental techniques, strategy, and sportsmanship in the absence of a volunteer coach
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Keep practices and games on schedule for the day
- Sport-specific officiating, playing, and/or coaching experience
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain rules and manage conflicts on the field
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
- Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
