Job Title: Volleyball Summer Camp Director

Location: Vienna, VA @ Vienna Adventist Academy
Camp Dates: June 22nd-26th, July 13th-17th, and July 27th-31st (Monday – Friday)
Shift Hours: 8:00am – 1:15pm

The Role: Volleyball Camp Director
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Volleyball Camp Director to lead our summer programs in Vienna. As the Director, you will be the face of the camp, ensuring that every player—ages 7 to 14—develops a love for the game through age-appropriate drills, organized play, and a positive atmosphere. You will be charged with following our structures 5 day camp guide and executing the proper drills and activities that make i9 Sports Camps fun, organized, and 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Inspire: Oversee & lead daily camp operations and activities, ensuring the program runs smoothly from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
  • Coach & Mentor: Direct paid instructors through i9 Sports-certified volleyball drills, skill-building activities, and small-sided scrimmages.
  • Focus on Fundamentals: Ensure the curriculum stays focused on building the "Big Three": serving, passing, and setting, all while keeping engagement high.
  • Manage Culture: Maintain our inclusive, 10:1 camper-to-counselor ratio and ensure the i9 Sports "fun-first" philosophy is evident in every drill.
  • Safety First: Maintain a safe, organized, and small-group environment for all participants.

Candidate Requirements
  • Availability: Must be available for the three weeks of volleyball camp.
  • Experience: Proven experience coaching volleyball or leading youth sports programs for ages 7–14.
  • Personality: Dynamic, positive, and "loud in a good way." You should be able to command a court and motivate kids.
  • Reliability: Must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation.
  • Integrity: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
