Job Summary
As a Volunteer Coach, you’ll take on a hands-on leadership role by guiding young athletes and delivering the i9 Sports Experience. You’ll help players develop their skills, learn the importance of sportsmanship, and, most importantly, have fun.
Responsibilities
- Lead practice sessions that emphasize fundamentals, skill development, and fun
- Teach and demonstrate sportsmanship values and core concepts
- Communicate game-day information to players and parents using established platforms
- Consistently model a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Sport-specific knowledge and/or coaching experience
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Availability on weekends and some evenings for the full season (~7 weeks)
- Must opt in to text messaging for communication
