Job Summary
The Baseball Sports Coordinator enhances the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands-on involvement with practices and games among all groups and skill levels. E

Responsibilities

Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
Teach & demonstrate core concepts, including Sportsmanship values.
Supervise the overall operation of designated sports on game day
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for players, encouraging teamwork, respect, and healthy competition.
Actively engage with players, offering personalized coaching to help them improve their game strategies and techniques.
Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor, serving as a role model for young athletes both on and off the court.
Collaborate with other referees and coaches to ensure smooth game operations and effective communication.
Carefully set up and break down venues, demonstrating consideration to maintain positive relationships with the venue.

Qualifications:

Lift/carry a minimum of 35lb
Must be over 18
Can commit to full weekend work (SUNDAY particularly)
Prior experience in Coaching Baseball is REQUIRED.
Strong understanding of rules and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with young athletes.
Passion for mentoring and coaching youth players, fostering their personal and athletic development.
Commitment to upholding the values of sportsmanship and fair play.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
