Job Summary

i9 Sports is seeking FLAG FOOTBALL REFEREES for our Chamblee location. This is a part-time position with all activities on Sunday afternoons, just one day per week (approximately 6 hour work day).

Candidate will assist in running our youth co-ed rec league (ages 4-14) and officiate games. You will help educate players on proper flag football fundamentals and procedures of the game with emphasis on good sportsmanship. You must be 100% reliable. You need to know football but more importantly be able to relate to, and instruct players ages 4-12. No certification is required and we will provide training.

CHAMBLEE - Sunday afternoons
Starts Sunday, March 10, 2024 (6-week league)

Responsibilities

Understand & follow the i9 Sports rule book ensuring fun and safety for all players
Teach & demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship
Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition
Set up and break down field equipment
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

Some football playing, officiating or coaching experience required
Excellent communication skills
Be a role model for athletes
Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
Ability to work Sunday afternoons (for the full duration of the season, 6 weeks)
All employees and volunteers must complete a national criminal background check

Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
